Curious. Strategic thinker. Hands-on problem solver
ABOUT ME
I enjoy working where strategy, technology, and people come together, especially when the challenges are complex, the answers aren't obvious, and there's an opportunity to create something meaningful.
A little about me
I'm Hester, an independent consultant with nearly 15 years of experience helping organizations navigate change, explore new opportunities, and turn ambitious ideas into reality.
What I enjoy most is bringing together different perspectives, and identifying a pragmatic fit for purpose way to make it happen. I love the creative side of developing new ideas just as much as the challenge of making them work in practice.
Over the years, I've learned that successful transformation is rarely just about having the right strategy. It's about bringing people with you on the journey, and what works for 1 company, might not work for the next. Its about finding what works for your organization and situation specifically.
A career shaped by different perspectives.
My professional journey has taken me across tourism, consulting, technology, and creative environments including TUI, Microsoft, EY, Accenture, and TBWA.
Working in these different worlds has shaped how I approach business challenges. Consulting taught me to bring structure to complexity and connect strategy with execution.
Technology strengthened my understanding of how digital innovation changes organizations. And working in creative environments reinforced the importance of curiosity, experimentation, and looking at challenges from unexpected angles.
Today, I bring those perspectives together in my work as an independent consultant. I'm equally comfortable helping leadership teams shape their direction, designing new operating models, or rolling up my sleeves to get a complex project moving again.
